# STREAMPANEL.net STREAMPANEL is the umbrella brand for radio hosting and related software services operated by Sven Barthel under DataDachs. The website is available in German and English. SPCast is the radio platform; STREAMPANEL explains hosting, capacity and ordering. ## Related services - [DataDachs web hosting](https://www.datadachs.eu/) - [SPChat community chat](https://www.spchat.eu/) - [TeamSpeaks voice servers](https://www.teamspeaks.eu/) - [WEB-PHP radio CMS](https://www.web-php.de/) - [WebradioTop100 directory](https://www.webradiotop100.de/) - [SHOUTcast Tools monitoring](https://de.shoutcast-tools.com/) - [Affiliate programme](https://www.streampanel.net/en/affiliate/) ## Confirmed radio hosting facts - SPCast is a STREAMPANEL platform with its own server engine. SHOUTcast and Icecast protocol compatibility does not mean the service runs unchanged original server software. - The base plan is EUR 30 per month including statutory VAT, with 100 concurrent listener connections and 50 GB of AutoDJ storage. - Each additional concurrent listener costs EUR 0.18 per month; each additional GB of AutoDJ storage costs EUR 0.11 per month. Optional web hosting starts at EUR 5 per month. Prices include statutory VAT. - Concurrent connections are not monthly audience reach. Monitoring devices also use connections. - AutoDJ accepts MP3 only. Live broadcasting also supports AAC, M4A, OGG and FLAC, subject to encoder, container, codec and playback compatibility. - Broadcaster host, port, username, password and mount point must come from the particular account in product management. Public listening URLs are separate. - The documented initial setup uses Icecast and MP3. The numeric SID field in SAM Broadcaster limits its SHOUTcast route; the Icecast route is documented instead. - Version .096 changed the 192, 128 and 96 kbit/s transcoder outputs to Fraunhofer FDK AAC (HE-AAC v2). The /stream256 and /stream320 endpoints relay the main programme instead of separate Liquidsoap transcoding. Check the installed version and offered outputs. - A change of provider requires local backups, parallel testing, encoder and player updates and a fallback plan. Do not assume automatic imports or retention of third-party stream URLs. - Location availability and the selected configuration are shown in the customer portal. Do not infer exclusive physical resources, a universal SLA or guaranteed response times from marketing descriptions. ## First broadcast Prepare a small set of MP3 files you have permission to broadcast. Keep local originals, upload the test files to AutoDJ, create a playlist and check its schedule and time zone. Listen on a second device using the public stream URL. Then connect the live encoder with the broadcaster account settings, check levels and listen to the live output. Disconnect and confirm that AutoDJ returns. Test embedded playback on mobile and desktop devices before publishing it. ## Website playback Use the station-specific player or listening URLs available in product management. The AIO Radio Station Player documentation describes loading the station's spAudioPlayer.js in that player's template.html. That is a specific integration, not a universal player embed code. Use HTTPS listening URLs on HTTPS websites. Browser autoplay restrictions and audio format support require device testing. Public pages must never contain broadcaster passwords. ## Migration Inventory files, playlists, schedules, time zones, accounts, stream URLs, players, apps and directory listings. Back up locally and check exported files. An export from one panel does not establish import compatibility with another. Test the destination while the previous service remains available. Retain the old encoder profile and player settings until the agreed checks pass. Changes in third-party directories may take time to appear. ## Scope of these references These are documentation and configuration facts, not results of an encoder or live-stream test. Music licensing depends on location and usage; German licensing references are not universal rules. Prices and capacity are confirmed as of 2026-10-20. Current ordering options remain in the customer portal. ## Setup and operation - [SPCast setup tutorial](https://www.spcast.eu/en/faq/general/setup-tutorial/) - [BUTT with Icecast and MP3](https://www.spcast.eu/en/faq/broadcaster/set-up-butt/) - [Mixxx with Icecast and MP3](https://www.spcast.eu/en/faq/broadcaster/set-up-mixxx/) - [Radio hosting migration](https://www.spcast.eu/en/faq/general/migrate-radio-hosting/) - [AutoDJ and live takeover](https://www.spcast.eu/en/spcast-automations-autodj-livedj-syndication-and-real-time-playback/) - [Player integration and testing](https://www.spcast.eu/en/modern-html5-player-for-radio-stations/) - [SHOUTcast compatibility](https://www.spcast.eu/en/shoutcast/) - [Icecast compatibility](https://www.spcast.eu/en/icecast/) - [Centova Cast alternative](https://www.spcast.eu/en/landing-pages/centova-cast-alternative/) - [Changelog](https://www.spcast.eu/en/changelog/) - [Hosting services and prerequisites](https://www.streampanel.net/en/webradio-hosting/) - [Starting a radio station](https://www.streampanel.net/en/news/how-to-start-a-web-radio-station/) ## Website and contact The site offers light, dark and system themes and adjustable text size.
