The base plan includes 100 concurrent listeners, 50 GB of AutoDJ storage, broadcaster accounts and streaming at up to 320 kbit/s. AutoDJ accepts MP3 only.

A listener slot is one simultaneous stream connection. Choose capacity for your busiest listening periods, not the total number of listeners over a month.

How SPCast helps you run your station
- Keep music playing without leaving your studio computer on: upload your MP3 files to AutoDJ and schedule playlists for your programme.
- Give presenters their own broadcaster accounts. They connect their software for a live show; afterwards, the scheduled programme takes over again.
- A website player lets your audience listen directly on your homepage. You can keep your existing website.

Your first radio station
Begin with a few MP3 files and one playlist. The setup tutorial takes you from product management to your first listening test. For live shows, follow the BUTT or Mixxx instructions. Our support team helps you get set up.
You already broadcast
Prepare your SPCast setup while your current stream is still running. The migration guide covers backups, a parallel listening test and switching your encoder, players and directory entries. This gives you a sequence to follow before you move.
Questions before you order
When can I start?
SPCast is ready within 24 hours after receipt of payment. We set up your own SPCast instance for you. You can then open product management in the STREAMPANEL customer portal and start preparing your programme.
Can I get help with setup?
Yes. Our support team helps with setup and operation, including connecting broadcasting software and embedding your player. We develop SPCast ourselves. If a problem occurs, we can investigate its cause in the software and make the necessary changes. Contact us with your plans or questions.
How much listener capacity do I need?
The base plan allows 100 simultaneous stream connections. Size it for your station’s busiest hour. Many more people may take turns listening over a month. Choose extra slots and AutoDJ storage as needed; their monthly prices are listed in the plan above.
Do I also need web hosting?
Only if you need somewhere to host your website. SPCast hosts your radio stream. You can keep an existing homepage and embed the player there. Web hosting is an optional addition.
Can I keep my broadcasting software?
SPCast supports connections through SHOUTcast and Icecast protocols. The encoder guides cover common broadcasting applications. SPCast has its own server engine; the SHOUTcast guide and Icecast guide explain connection details and restrictions. Your account settings are in product management.
Which music files can I use?
AutoDJ accepts MP3 only. Live broadcasting also supports AAC, M4A, OGG and FLAC. The format guide explains how file formats, broadcasting software and playback fit together.
