We would like to point out once again that starting with the latest Google Chrome version 80.0.3987.116, HTTPS streams can no longer be played on secured websites as of (February 18, 2020).
In the last few weeks, we've done a lot of work on this. Information and Tutorials published.
The restriction in the new Google Chrome browser applies to all web players which are located on secured websites!
Experience shows that other browser manufacturers follow suit with such adjustments. It is therefore not an option to change the browser. Just the target group you address will bring such statements only little understanding.
We strongly recommend all operators to deal with the circumstances!
Recommended action for STREAMPANEL products

Icecast V2 (Standard & Cloud)
All Icecast V2 servers have a fully native SSL connection.
As a rule, the address for web players or external platforms is always: https://HOSTNAME.streampanel.cloud:PORT/stream.
SHOUTcast V1 (WHMSonic)
The WHMSonic panel is no longer supported by us and will be replaced this year by a similar alternative.
SHOUTcast V1 users have to wait for the free proxy solution fall back on.
SHOUTcast V2 (Standard & Cloud)
SHOUTcast V2 supports since version 2.6.x only Semi-SSL connections. That means your SHOUTcast V2 server is generally available over a secured connection. However, so that the servers are also playable, is a SHOUTcast.com Premium Membership necessary.
In general, SHOUTcast is developing in the wrong direction. We recommend all users to switch to the now equivalent Icecast V2 systems.
Please note that the Icecast V2 Systems from STREAMPANEL in the standard version do not support real DJ accounts and are only compatible with Icecast broadcasters.
However, the cloud-based Icecast V2 systems have true DJ accounts and are backwards compatible with all SHOUTcast V1 broadcasters!
If you would like to stay with SHOUTcast V2, we would like to hear your reasons so we can act accordingly.
Alternatively for SHOUTcast V2 the free proxy solution available.
External platforms (Radio.de / Tunein & others)
External platforms rely on SSL-only connections from the stream servers with the update. If you do not want to follow the information above, access the free proxy solution back.
Provide the platforms with your URL in the following format: https://nelly.streampanel.net/spradio/index.php?q=VOLLSTÄNDIGE_STREAMSERVER_URL
