MySQL: Incoming / Outgoing MySQL Connections

Inbound and outbound MySQL® connections are disabled for your web hosting account in the initial state.

To activate, call the "Remote-MySQL®" option in the cPanel interface and enter the IP address(es) you want to communicate with via MySQL.

Update interval

The entries in the cPanel interface are not live in this case. We currently update the access policies every hour on the hour. You can not speed up the update even by a support request.

Note

The following entries are not supported by STREAMPANEL even if described in the cPanel documentation.

• The wildcard: %
• The entry of a host name instead of the IP address.
