Centova Cast: How do I get started?
Centova Cast provides you with a powerful management panel for your stream server. With the schedulable playlists and the professional DJ / presenter management, no wishes remain unfulfilled.
To help you get started, follow the illustrated instructions below.
Here we go
Log in to the Centova Cast interface.
After logging in, click on "File management" in the menu on the left under the menu item "AutoDJ".
(If you don't see this menu item, click "Settings" instead and select the "AutoDJ" tab. There, activate the AutoDJ by setting the status to "Allowed and enabled").
Return to the main screen of the Centova Cast panel and click 'Library' under the 'AutoDJ' menu item.
Return to the main screen of the Centova Cast Panel and click 'Start' under the 'Server' menu item.
Your server is now up and running and hopefully you have internalized the basics of administration.
What should I pay attention to?
- After creating or editing DJ / moderator accounts it is necessary to restart the streamserver once. (Otherwise the new configuration will not be integrated and you will not get a connection to the streamserver).
- After uploading music files via FTP client, you need to go to the library and update it accordingly via the options there.
